STRABAG PFS receives exclusive contract from O2 Telefónica

The order comprises 275 stores and 15 administrative buildings.

Frankfurt, 9.6.2022 O2 Telefónica has exclusively commissioned STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) with the technical, commercial and infrastructural facility management for its entire real estate portfolio in Germany. From September 2022, STRABAG PFS will be the exclusive service provider for all associated services.

The portfolio under management comprises 275 stores, several data centers and 15 administrative buildings, including the so-called O2 Tower in Munich, the tallest office building in Munich with 37 floors, as well as the associated areas on the campus grounds. The new facility management contract has a term of three years, while the extension of the property management contract covers two years. The parties have agreed not to disclose the contract volume.

In addition to technical maintenance and servicing of all technical systems, the agreed services also include all infrastructural services, janitor services and conference management, ensuring trouble-free operation, a 24/7 customer hotline, comprehensive energy and security management and other optional services. The commercial services focus on recording contract and billing data for the properties and company cars. The majority of the services are provided by the company's own staff.

STRABAG PFS has been the exclusive provider of technical facilities and operating sites for company landline services for O2 Telefónica since 2016. In May 2017, STRABAG PFS was already commissioned with the TFM and IFM for a partial mobile portfolio. With the now signed contract extension, STRABAG PFS is the sole property and facility services provider for O2 Telefónica in Germany.
