MAHLE commissions STRABAG PFS with Technical Facility Management

Technical management for 36 buildings in greater Stuttgart area. STRABAG PFS provides services for international developers and automotive suppliers according to the functional and performance model.

The MAHLE Group has commissioned STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) with the technical facility management for its German headquarters and other locations in the Stuttgart area. A corresponding contract with a term of five years with an extension option has already been signed. STRABAG PFS won the tender with its offer based on the functional and service model developed by the "Certification" working group of RealFM e.V. and i²fm, which is a further development of the FM service process and describes clear organisational and operational structures as well as an efficient organisational design.

In future, STRABAG PFS will manage the MAHLE headquarters in Bad Cannstatt with around 15 buildings, including a new building, a production hall and a multi-storey car park, as well as a further 21 properties in Stuttgart Feuerbach and Bad Cannstatt. The range of services provided by STRABAG PFS includes technical services for over 5,000 technical systems covering a total of more than 200,000 square metres. Of particular note is the maintenance of technical systems in the test bays, in the high-voltage area and laboratory areas. STRABAG PFS provides all services almost entirely in-house with over 30 employees.
