STRABAG PFS provides technical and infrastructural facility management for CENTRAAL at MesseCity Cologne.

Frankfurt, 5.9.2024
CENTRAAL, named after the Amsterdam train station, is one of six new buildings in the newly created MesseCity Cologne business district and will be managed by STRABAG Property and Facility Services (STRABAG PFS) as of November 1, 2024. STRABAG PFS provides integrated facility management services at CENTRAAL, i.e. technical and infrastructural facility management from a single source.

With CENTRAAL, STRABAG is once again demonstrating its capabilities throughout the life cycle of buildings. Developed by STRABAG Real Estate together with ECE Work and Live and built by Ed. ZÜBLIN, it is now managed by STRABAG PFS after winning the tender. The main tenant is a leading audit and adisory company, which will move into the building in late fall with around 900 workstations on 15 floors.

The contract was concluded for three years and covers all technical facility management services and infrastructural services for the property with around 20,000 sqm of office space, an underground car park with around 15,000 sqm and a prestigious trade fair balcony, the heart of the entire complex with a large open space and staircase. CENTRAAL and the other new buildings in the quarter are conveniently located directly between Koelnmesse and the Cologne-Deutz long-distance train station, close to the Rhine and with a view of the cathedral. In addition to the diverse use of the business district by restaurants, hotels and workspaces, the special feature is the consistent DGNB certification of the entire complex, which places high demands on the management of the properties.
